*  What if I can't use my desk phone or my cell phone for MFA?  What can I use?
    Answer:  An app can be installed on your computer/classroom computer or you can use a security key or card.  Please contact the MMA Service Desk to get the app or a security key or card.

*  When will I be prompted for the second security option - when I log onto my computer?
   Answer:  You will be prompted for the second security option when you login to an MMA application, such as Blackboard, Self-Service or Google email.  When you log onto your computer, you will not need the second security option.
 
*  Will I have to use MFA when I login to Mass Maritime applications from home?
   Answer:  Yes, you will be prompted for the second security option when you login to a Mass Maritime application for the first time each day, regardless of where you are located.

*  Will I have to use MFA if I am using a personal laptop?
   Answer: Yes, if you use your personal laptop to access Mass Maritime applications, you will be prompted for a second security option when you login to these applications.
