In order to reset your “My Maritime” password or unlock your account, you can go to “My Maritime”.

Your username is your Massachusetts Maritime Academy email address:
- Student - [email protected]. (e.g. John Doe as a student is [email protected]). If you are a
- Faculty/Staff - [email protected]. (e.g. John Doe as a staff member would be [email protected]).

- Click next, you will see the My Maritime “Enter password” screen.
- Click the "Forgot my password" link

There are two choices:
- "I forgot my password" - allows you to reset your password
- "I know my password, but still can't sign in" - allows you to unlock your account and keep your existing password
I forgot my password
- This will prompt you for two verification methods.
- If you choose to "Text my" or "Email my" you will need to enter the six digit code in the space provided.
- If you choose "Call my" you will need to answer the call and press the # key to verify.

The system will prompt you through the two verification steps and get you to the "choose a new password" step. The new password will need to adhere to complexity rules:
- consist of at least 8 characters
- have at least 3 of the following: lowercase letters, uppercase letters, digits, or special characters (~!@#$%^&**(){}?)
- it cannot contain your first or last name
- Enter your new password and click "Finish"
I know my password, but still can't sign in (unlock account)
- This will prompt you for two verification methods.
- If you choose to "Text my" or "Email my" you will need to enter the six digit code in the space provided.
- If you choose "Call my" you will need to answer the call and press the # key to verify.
- The system will prompt you through the two verification steps.
- Once you have completed the two verification steps, your account will be unlocked
