MMA Alumni maintain MMA Library database access and borrowing privileges for six months following graduation.

The Library, located in the ABS Information Commons (ABSIC), is open to alumni for in-library use of computers, library materials and online resources, during our staffed hours. Alumni will have guest access on WiFi.

  • Printing is not available. Alumni may download documents onto their own flash drive or other storage (e.g., their own Google drive, Dropbox)

  • Reserve materials must be used in the Library (ABSIC building) within the 3-hour loan period.

  • Media, reference and computer equipment are not loaned to visitors or alumni.

  • There is no charge to borrow books from the MMA Library.

Beyond the six-month grace period:

  • In-state MMA alumni may borrow materials from the circulating collection for one month of use through their “home library” (local public, academic or corporate library). MMA Library materials must be requested through the alumni’s home library’s interlibrary loan department and will be shipped via the Massachusetts Library System’s (MLS) free statewide delivery. Renewals must be approved by either the MMA Director of Library Services or the Access Services Manager.

  • Out-of-state MMA alumni may also request materials through their “home library”  (local public, academic or corporate library).  MMA Library materials will be loaned and returned via U.S. mail to and from that library.  A limit of five books per person is permitted due to USPS expenses.
