Copying/Pasting Images No Longer Allowed in the Blackboard Content Editor

Blackboard has recently disabled the ability to copy and paste images in the Content Editor. This change is due to performance / accessibility issues caused by the paste process.

NOTE: Users can still copy / paste text into the Content Editor as before; this change only affects pasted images.

When you attempt to paste a copied image in the Content Editor, you will see this error message:

Local image paste has been disabled. Local images has been removed.
