Respondus Lockdown Browser and Monitor
Respondus LockDown Browser is a custom browser that locks down the testing environment within Blackboard. It locks down the student’s computer to help prevent cheating during exams. Learn more about it in this short 3 minute video
To ensure your first exam using Lockdown Browser runs smoothly, have the students take an ungraded quiz that requires the use of Lockdown Browser. Also, leave the quiz with unlimited attempts so that the student can access it again if they change computers. Students need to download the browser using this unique URL found here. This is also on the Institutions page in Blackboard along with additional information for students.
