Hi everyone,

We’ve received reports of a phishing attempt currently being sent to MMA email accounts. The message contains a QR code and asks you to scan it to “verify” or “secure” your account. Please do not scan the QR code or click on any links in that message.

If you received this email:

1. Do not respond or provide any personal information.

2. Delete the message from your inbox and “Deleted Items.”

3. If you already scanned the QR code or entered credentials, immediately change your MMA password at:
   https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info/password/change
   and contact the IT Service Desk right away.

Phishing messages like this often look official and may use terms like “account security,” “password expired,” or “Microsoft verification.” Always double-check the sender’s address and think twice before clicking unfamiliar links or QR codes.
